Porcelain Veneers

Composite Resin

Bioclear Veneers

BioClear Veneers are relatively new products that can be used as an alternative to porcelain veneers and traditional bonding. Faces fall into four general categories of shapes, and each category has an optimal tooth size and shape that helps balance your features, optimize your overall appearance, and give you the best-looking smile:

HEART-SHAPED faces work better with rounded and shorter veneers.

OVAL-SHAPED tend to look better with square teeth, which add fullness and help widen the face.

Veneer Colors

The appropriate color of your porcelain veneers is determined using a standardized color chart. This chart is divided into four categories: gray, reddish yellow, reddish brown, and reddish gray plus many sub-categories for a wide range of tones. BL1 will be considered as the super white while a BL4 will resemble four shaded darker than BL1.

Broadly speaking, veneer profiles have four critical aspects:

Veneer Styles & Shape

Once you have decided on the color or shade of veneers including the materials to be used; you will have to focus more on the shape of the veneers since choosing the right shape for your veneers is essential to giving you the most suitable smile for your face.

Since every tooth is different, there are endless options to choose from; however, the shaping of veneers is typically focused on the six main teeth – 2 central incisors, 2 lateral incisors, and 2 canines. Each set of these can be shaped so that they appear boxy or squarish oven rounded at one or both corners of the tooth.

Smile Libraries have been created to make choosing the right shape. The Las Vegas Institute Smile Catalog is one of the most common indexes for tooth shape reference. This library is made up of 12 different styles of smiles to choose from.

Aggressive: Square shaped, uniform teeth for a bold impression. Typically more common for males.

Mature: Square shaped teeth with slightly rounded canines.

Vigorous: Square shaped teeth with sharp and prominent canines.

Dominant: Square shaped teeth with more prominent front teeth and rounded canines.

Focused: Slightly rounded teeth with square central incisors.

Enhanced: Slightly rounded teeth

Softened: Rounded teeth with a more discreet curvature.

Hollywood: Square shaped with slightly shorter lateral incisors. This is one of the most popular veneer styles and typically preferred for male patients.

Functional: Slightly rounded shape with pointed canines for optimal function

Natural: Slightly rounded shape with very pointed canines.

Youthful: Round shape with longer canines

Oval: Round shape with rounded canines and incisors.

My son is new patient to practice and want the best for my boy. The customer service from front office was very warm and caring. The assistants were very attentive and professional.

What made this appointment a complete different experience for my family was a subject that has never been explained or overlook. Sleep Apnea!!! My son is 9 year old active boy. My beast!!! Recently I have notice major changes and have consulted with the best of the best about my son health. I was told this and that but just did not make sense and refused to drug my boy with meds. My consult with Dr Horiyat was for dental related services and had no idea Dr Horiyat also specialized in sleep apnea. After reviewing my son chart and doing her diagnosis she asked how is your son sleeping or doing at night? Some of questions started to make perfect sense and was intrigued to learn more about sleep health. After completing his home sleep study we find my son has obstructive sleep apnea. I don’t think many dentist talk about this due to lack of knowledge or just staying in the box of dentistry. Dr Horiyat is extremely knowledgeable and address all my concerns. I came in for routine dental and walked out proving a better quality of life for my son in finding a solution to his airway problems.

Me and my 9 year old walked out with excitement. He said if this makes me a better soccer player I am in hahaha. We have started sleep appliances and instantly notice day and light difference in school in his attitude and he is killing it on the field.

They have state of the art equipment that is safe/low radiation, the office is extremely organized and clean and they only use the safest materials for the mouth. I have complete confidence in Dr. Horyiat because she is constantly researching and learning. She follows up with me with research regarding any concerns I have. The cherry on top is her bedside manner, she has a natural maternal care for my kids when they are nervous and she is patient with me as an adult, she has no ego like most dentists do and is very respectful of your decisions.
